Driving Directions:
From downtown Jacksonville
1. Take I-95 N
2. Take exit 362A toward I-295 E/Beltway/Blount Island/Jax Beaches
3. Take exit 358A to merge onto FL-105 N/Heckscher Dr toward US-17/Zoo Pkwy
4. Turn left at New Berlin Rd just across the street from the Gate station
5. Sharp right at Cedar Point Rd
6. Stay on Cedar Point Road. You'll come to a split towards Black Hammock Island. Stay right.
7. Follow road until you come on a dirt road on your left.
Parking Situation:
There isn't hard top parking here. You'll find spots between trees and off the main path. If I had to guess, I'd say there is enough parking up to 25 trailerable boats.
Ramps
This ramp was recently renovated. Now this ramp has a new 1 lane ramp with a new dock for assistance in launching and retrieving boats.
Special Conditions
Tides play a significant factor when launching at this ramp. Dead low tide may prove difficult and muddy. In warmer months you'll want to bring some bug spray.
