Mandarin park is a wonderful park which includes a boat ramp along Julington Creek. Located Mandarin, this park offers a number of amenities including; picnic tables, restrooms, a fishing pier, a play area for children, walking trails, and an interpretive nature center. There is also a freshwater pond that holds a few bass. The boat ramp is in a manatee zone 1000' from shore. The parking is adequate, with crowding on some weekends. This ramp is ADA accessible. The city of Jacksonville is awaiting funding for additional boat trailer parking. The estimated start date for this project is March 2010.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS: From Downtown and I-95: 1. Head South on I-95 to I-295 NORTH 2. Exit SAN JOSE BOULEVARD SOUTH ramp 3. Traveling SOUTH on San Jose Boulevard, turn RIGHT on Mandarin Road 4. After a distance, park entrance in on the right, follow entry to boat ramp
