	Peters Creek Peter's Creek is located just east of the Knights Boat Ramp in Black Creek off of the St Johns River. This Jacksonville fishing spot is posted minimum speed throughout the entire area which helps deter some of the recreational craft from coming back in this area. This Jacksonville fishing spot also offers a serene paddle for those looking for some kayak fishing in Jacksonville Florida. Overhanging trees and slow currents make this is a nice three (3) mile or so stretch perfect for a kayak or canoe. There are a few species to be had back in Peter's Creek; Bass, Bream, and Specks are just some of what you can expect to find at this peaceful Jacksonville fishing spot.
	Stinson Park Adjacent to the Ortega River Bridge, Stinson Park is beautiful park located in the Ortega neighborhood on the Ortega River. This park has a number of amenities for those looking for a nice place to fish in Jacksonville or just spend the day on the river. There are a couple of picnic tables, a playgound area for the children, drinking fountain, park benches, and a floating dock. Fishing at Stinson Park, is fair; the majority of the fishing here is bank fishing. You are not able to fish off of the Ortega River Bridge itself nor are you able to fish on the floating dock. However, you can still cast a line up and around the Ortega Bridge for bass, catfish, etc. On nice days, the park gets a little crowded. There are only 16 or so parking spaces, so parking is somewhat limited. Stinson Park also offers beautiful panoramic views of downtown Jacksonville and the St. Johns River.
	Little Black Creek A feeder creek off of Black Creek, the Little Black Creek is a peaceful area to enjoy some nature. Most of the big boats can't get back here and the jet skiers can't go too fast, so this area offers a nice paddle for a kayak or small boat. There are a number of down trees so be careful not to tear up the bottom of your craft.
	Pablo Creek ICW South Pablo Creek ICW South is located in the JTB bridge area. Access to this area is fine with a boat, however, can be a haul if your thinking of fishing from a kayak. This area has a number of finger creeks with some deep holes up to 20 feet deep. The bridge itself is known to hold some fishing too. Turn into the finger creeks towards marsh landing for some protective area with some good fish.
	Fishing Downtown Jacksonville There are many spots to fish along the St. Johns River in Jacksonville, FL. Here on the southbank are spectactular views of Jacksonville Municipal Stadium where the Jaguars play, the Main Street bridge, and a panoramic view of downtown. There are a number of good spots along the riverwalk to fish. One person I talked to when visiting this spot mentioned that he caught a 46" catfish near the Duval County School Board. There have also been reports of Striped Bass in the downtown area.
	The Little Jetties The Little Jetties is a very popular spot for kayakers and those fishing from the shore. Known locally as The Little Jetties, this spots actual name was changed to Helen Cooper Floyd Park back in 1999. There is a fishing pier here, but it is rather small and can get crowded. Most people find a spot on the rocks or somewhere on the shoreline. I've seen some nice Red Fish caught here. Kayakers can launch from this location and have access to Chicopit Bay, Pablo Creek, Sherman Creek, and Boathouse Creek. These areas offer a vast number of oyster beds and grass for you to fish.
