Yea, but aside from a few nibbles, and a tiny catfish, we've been 'skunked". Been focusing on learning more, learning how to cast on bait casters, I've always used spinner rods. I've played with driving the boat itself in open empty areas, but yesterday we went full steam ahead, so I drove the truck and trailer, put the boat in the water, drove us all over the river, got us up on plane, and got the boat back on the trailer by myself. Hubby has to be out of town for the whole month of May, so I wanted to be able to go by myself. So, we shall see. Tried Arlington area, tried the marshes near Timaquana, and still nothing but nibbles. May have to breakdown and try Jetties.
