I have been fishing since i was just a young boy and love it. Also love the chill time on the water between fish. I love guided trips and charters for the learning experience and a great chance at catching a trophy bass .

Recreational spotted seatrout management changes include: The removal of all recreational spotted seatrout closures, including the annual Feb. 1 closure that would have affected anglers in northeast and northwest Florida; An increased recreational bag limit of six fish in the northeast region of the state.
The changes take effect Feb. 1, 2012, and include the following: Create three management areas for red drum (the northwest, the northeast and the south) instead of one statewide management area; Increase the number of red drum that a recreational fisherman can take per day in the northeast and northwest regions of the state from one to two red drum; Establish a statewide vessel limit of eight red drum; Limit the number of red drum that can be transported on land to six red drum per person. These rule changes are the result of a successful management strategy that began in 1989, when the species was considered severely overfished

Went on a deep sea charter yesterday and had a blast. Saw some HUGE Amberjacks pulled into the boat.
Perfect day at the beach today. Took the dog out so I wasn't able to fish. There were plenty of people surf fishing though. Lucky!
